1. Who is responsible
The controller for the processing of personal data on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
StarFanApp Holding GmbH i. G. (in formation)
Baruther Str. 23
15806 Zossen
Germany
Represented by the Managing Director Mark Dollar, email: m.dollar@starfanapp.com
2. The key points
- This website does not set cookies and does not store anything in your browser.
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools, advertising networks or embedded content from other providers such as videos, maps or social media plugins.
- Fonts and images are hosted on our own web space. No data is sent to font providers such as Google Fonts.
- Personal data is only processed when you visit the site (technical access data at our host) and when you contact us via a form or by email.
3. Hosting and access data
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. Each time a page is requested, Netlify processes technically necessary access data, in particular your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested address, the previously visited page (referrer) and information about your browser and operating system.
The purpose is to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable, for example by defending against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Netlify keeps these logs only for a limited time; to our knowledge they are deleted after about 30 days.
We have a data processing agreement with Netlify pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (netlify.com/pdf/netlify-dpa.pdf). Netlify may process data in the USA. Netlify is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (dataprivacyframework.gov), which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses have been agreed. More information: netlify.com/privacy.
4. Contact, callback and appointment forms
When you write to us through one of the forms, we process the information you enter. Depending on the form this may include your name, email address, phone number, country, company and position, website and social media channels, approximate reach, interests, preferred date, time zone, language and your message. Required fields are marked; everything else is voluntary.
We use this information only to answer your request and, where applicable, to prepare a conversation or a collaboration. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by email to the address above.
The forms are processed by the service "Netlify Forms" and stored in our Netlify account (data processing as described in section 3). To fight spam, Netlify checks every submission with the Akismet service of Automattic Inc., USA, which Netlify uses as a sub-processor. In addition, every form contains a field that is invisible to humans and detects automated submissions.
We delete your information once your request has been dealt with, at the latest six months after our last contact. If we start working together, we keep the data as long as necessary for that purpose and for statutory retention obligations.
5. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a possible contract is concerned, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Deletion follows the same rules as for the forms.
6. Encryption
This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). This also applies to everything you enter into the forms.
7. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- request the erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- request the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- receive your data in a common format (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR),
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Just write to us at m.dollar@starfanapp.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Brandenburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Access to Information (lda.brandenburg.de).
8. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions
You are not obliged to provide us with any data. Without the required fields in the forms, however, we cannot process your request. There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
9. Changes
We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
